Control Mode for
Wireless RF System: Momentary, Toggle, Latched and Multiple Control Mode
Wireless RF system is composed of a RF transmitter and a RF receiver that can be used for
residential, agricultural and industrial automation. You can turn on/ off the
receiver with transmitter (remote control) from any place within a reliable
distance; the wireless RF signal can pass through walls, floors and doors. We
have different working range of wireless RF system, such as 50m wireless RF
system100m wireless RF system500m wireless RF system1000m wireless RF
system2000m wireless RF system5000m wireless RF system, etc. When you press
the button of RF transmitter, it will immediately send a signal to the receiver.
The relay will start working after the receiver gets the signal, so the device
controlled by the receiver will start working.
But many customers always are confused about control mode of the receiver. Here we will learn the difference about the momentary, toggle, latched and multiple control mode.
In order to meet different applications’ needs, working control mode of receiver is usually
divided into momentary, toggle, latched and multi-mode control mode. Popularly
said, momentary mode is equivalent to light touch switch, toggle mode is
equivalent to the light switch, latched mode is equivalent to the fan gear
switch and multi-mode is the mix of momentary, toggle and latched modes.


Momentary control mode
Press and hold ->On; Release -> Off.
Momentary mode means that when you press and hold the button of transmitter, the relay will
start to work and when you release the button of transmitter, the relay will
stop working. This control mode can be set to control rolling blind, rolling
door and so on. You need to press and hold the button of remote to make the
blind or door open/close.
Customer: I am interesting of buying one dc 12v receiver and one transmitter with the higher
actual distance, the working distance should at least be 500-1000m. I want with
one transmitter to control this receiver which is used to control my garage
light. I want also only momentary and when I press and hold the button, the
light turns on until I release the transmitter’s button and when I release the
button of transmitter, my garage light will turns off. Please suggest me a kit
for my needs. According to the description of this customer, we recommended him
2000m momentary control kit of 0020144 (S1M-DC12-ANT2 & CB-1).
Set the 1 channel momentary control mode DC receiver of 0020142 (S1M-DC12-ANT2) as an example. For this momentary control mode, you need one button transmitter to control the
receiver. we usually choose the transmitter of 0021023 (CB-1) which has one
button and the working range of the transmitter and receiver can reach 2000m in
an open ground. We can use this receiver with momentary control mode to control
light, door, motor, ect.
In the following, we use the receiver of 0020142 (S1M-DC12-ANT2) with momentary mode and the transmitter of 0021023 (CB-1) to control a LED light.

Operation:
When you press and hold the button of transmitter, LED light will turn on.
When you release the button of transmitter, LED light will turn off.
Toggle Control Mode
Control mode Toggle: Press -> On; Press again -> Off.
Toggle mode means that when you press the button of transmitter, the relay will start to work and when you press the button again, the relay will stop working.
Toggle mode is used most often. Controlling lamp, for example, press the button of remote, turn on the lamp; press the button again, turn off the lamp. It can turn on   multiple lights/motors/doors at the same.
Customer: I am looking for a DC 12V RF remote control (not in line of sight) for operating a my
garden light which is 1000m away. I need only on /off feature. Please let me know if you have product like that. To control the light with on/off feature, the receiver can be set with toggle mode. When you press the button of transmitter, the light will turn on and when you press the button again, the light will turn off. We recommend him the toggle mode kit of 0020268 (S1T-DC12-ANT2 & CB-1). The working range of this toggle mode kit is 2000m in an open ground.
In the following, we use the toggle mode kit of 0020268 (S1T-DC06/09/12/24-ANT2 & CB-1) to control a LED light.

Operation:
When you press the button of transmitter, LED light will turn on.
When you press the button of transmitter again, LED light will turn off.

Latched Control Mode
Control mode Latched: Press -> On, another relay Off; Press another button -> Off.
Latched control mode means that when you press the button of transmitter, the relay will start
to work and when you press another button, the relay will stop working. For
relay group, only one relay will be on at a time, e.g. press remote button A,
relay A will be on, and relay B will be off; press remote button B, relay B will
be on, and relay A will be off. To be more specific, when you control the lamp
by latched mode, you should prepare at least two buttons remote. Press button A,
the lamp is on; press button B, the lamp is off. In the following, we set
latched control mode of 1channel receiver, 2 channels receiver and 4 channels
receiver as examples.
1.     Latched Control Mode for 1 Channel Receiver
Customer: Do you have a receiver that have the following features: when I press the first button of the transmitter, the lamp will turn on and when I press the second button of the transmitter, the lamp will turn off. The receiver should be AC 110V. The working range is within 1000m.
We recommend him the latched control mode AC110V 1 channel kit of 0020008 (S1L-AC110 & C-2). Connect the lamp to the receiver and press the button 1 of the transmitter, the relay of the receiver will start working and the lamp will turn on and press button 2 of the transmitter, the relay will stop working and the lamp will turn off.
        

Operation:
When you press button 1 of the transmitter, the lamp will turn on.
When you press button 2 of the transmitter, the lamp will turn off.
2.     Latched Control Mode for 2 Channels Receiver
Customer: I have a need for a long distance remote control application. In a remote area I need to set up 2 calling light systems. But the two lights can’t be on at the same time, that is, when I turn on light 1, the light 2 should be off and when I turn on light 2, the light 1 should be off. The power supply is DC 12V.
     We recommend him the latched control mode of 0020023 (S2L-DC12 & C-3), the power supply of this latched mode 2 channel kit is DC 12V.
                        

Operation: 

When you press button C of the transmitter, light 1 will turn on and light 2 is off.

When you press button B of the transmitter, light 2 will turn on and light 1 is off.

When you press button A of the transmitter, all light 1 and light 2 will turn off.
3.     Latched Control Mode for 4 Channels Receiver
Customer: I am looking to convert a keyed rotary switch with a remote control switch. The switch has 4 positions, position 1 is all Off. Position 2 lower (turns on compressor) Position 3 Raise (turns on a blower) and Position 4 Drain (turns on a pump). These are turned on individually not all at the same time. The voltage required to power the remote control is AC220V. No current is required to power the devices. The relays are basically open or closed. I would like a 4 channel RF product so I have one channel spare. Can you assist me with what product suits this please.

According to the descriptions from this customer, latched mode will help him for the conversion.
Set the receiver S4PU-AC220-ANT3 with Latched mode, then connect compressor to relay 1 in the receiver, connect blower to relay 2 in the receiver, connect pump to relay 3 in the receiver. This remote control kit is composed of a 4-channel receiver and 4-button transmitter that can be used in agriculture automation, industry automation, and home automation. Press button A of the transmitter, the compressor turns on. Press button B of the transmitter, the compressor turns off and the blower turns on. Press button C of the transmitter, the blower turns off and the pump turns on. Press button D of the transmitter, turn off all of the devices.
Multiple control mode is a mixed mode of momentary, toggle and latched mode. Set the 6 channel receiver of 0020074 (S6C-DC06/09/12/24V) 
as an example, it has 6 control modes, including Toggle, Momentary, Latched, Momentary (Channel 1~3) + Toggle (Channel 4~6), Momentary (Channel 1~3) + Latched (Channel 4~6) and
Toggle control mode (Channel 1~4) + All On / Off (Channel 5/6).
Momentary (Channel1~3) + Toggle (Channel 4~6), Momentary (Channel 1~3) + Latched (Channel 4~6) and Toggle control mode (Channel 1~4) + All On / Off (Channel 5/6) are the multiple control mode.
1.     Momentary (Channel 1~3) + Toggle (Channel 4~6) Mode
Operation:
 Momentary (Channel 1~3) + Toggle (Channel 4~6) Mode means that Channel 1~3 is Momentary control mode and Channel 4~6 is Toggle control mode. 
When you press and hold the button 1 of the transmitter, the channel 1 will start to work. When you release the button 1, the channel 1 will stop working.
 When you press and hold the button 2 of the transmitter, the channel 2 will start to work. When you release the button 2, the channel 2 will stop working.

When you press and hold the button 3 of the transmitter, the
channel 3 will start to work. 
When you release the button 3, the channel 3 will
stop working.

When you press the button 4 of the transmitter, the channel 4
will start to work. When you press the button 4 again, the channel 4 will stop
working.

When you press the button 5 of the transmitter, the channel 5
will start to work. When you press the button 5 again, the channel 5 will stop
working.

When you press the button 6 of the transmitter, the channel 6
will start to work. When you press the button 6 again, the channel 6 will stop
working.
2.     Momentary (Channel 1~3) + Latched (Channel 4~6) Mode
Operation:

Momentary (Channel 1~3) + Latched (Channel 4~6) means that
Channel 1~3 is Momentary control mode and Channel 4~6 is Latched control mode.

When you press and hold the button 1 of the transmitter, the
channel 1 will start to work. When you release the button 1, the channel 1 will
stop working.

When you press and hold the button 2 of the transmitter, the
channel 2 will start to work. When you release the button 2, the channel 2 will
stop working.

When you press and hold the button 3 of the transmitter, the
channel 3 will start to work. When you release the button 3, the channel 3 will
stop working

When you press the button 4 of the transmitter, the channel 4
will start to work. 

When you press the button 5 of the transmitter, 
the channel 4 will stop working and channel 5
will start to work.

When you press the button 6 of the transmitter, the channel 5
will stop working and channel 6 will start to work..
3.     Toggle control mode (Channel 1~4) + All On / Off (Channel 5/6) Mode
Operation:

Toggle control mode (Channel 1~4) + All On / Off (Channel 5/6)
Mode means that Channel 1~4 is Toggle control mode and when you press button 5
of the transmitter, all the 6 channels will start to work, when you press button
6, all the 6 channels will stop working.

When you press the button 1 of the transmitter, the channel 1
will start to work. When you press the button 1 again, the channel 1 will stop
working.

When you press the button 2 of the transmitter, the channel 2
will start to work. When you press the button 2again, the channel 2will stop
working.

When you press the button 3 of the transmitter, the channel 3
will start to work. When you press the button 3 again, the channel 3 will stop
working.

When you press the button 4 of the transmitter, the channel 4
will start to work. When you press the button 4 again, the channel 4 will stop
working.

when you press button 5 of the transmitter, all the 6 channel
will start to work.

When you press button 6, all the 6 channel will stop working.

The Speed Governor’s model is 0044001.The wireless DC motor control system can remote control motor rotation and the speed governor with digital screen can adjust the speed of motor rotation. The speed governor’s speed adjustment range is 0~100%. Here is the circuit diagram of the wireless DC motor remote control system. You can connect terminal “A&B” of receiver to terminal “Input” of speed governor. Connect DC motor to terminal “Output” of speed governor. Then supply power to receiver.
When you press the button of transmitter, motor rotating.
Then twist the “Adjustable potentiometer: the digital screen will display “0~100”. Twist clockwise, the digital will bigger and bigger, motor rotation will speed up. When the screen display digital “100”, that means the speed of motor rotation is fastest. Twist anti-clockwise, the digital will smaller and smaller, motor rotation will slow down. When the screen display digital “0”, the motor stop rotating.     
Press the button of transmitter again: motor stop rotating.

Just as the following pictures. Connect 3 lamps and 4 positions keyed rotary switch to the 4 Ch receiver. The black wire of the 3 lamps is connected and connect the other black wire to terminal “-“. Connect the red wire of 3 lamps respectively to terminal “A” of relay 1, relay 2 and relay 3. Connect red wire and black wire of the plug respectively to “+” and “-“ of the power. Please note that the red wire used to control lamp1 (compressor) should be connected to terminal A of the relay 1, the red wire used to control lamp2 (blower) should be connected to terminal B of the relay 2, the red wire used to control lamp2 (pump) should be connected to terminal B of the relay 3. The red wire used to turn off the equipments should be connected to terminal B of the relay 3.
